Blog No. 014: Halloween Up

Hello there and here is another blog of my life's story. It appears to me that my one month of babysitting my niece and nephew will soon come to an end. Well my dear sister she'll be graduating first thing tomorrow and after she gets her CDL I can get home and go back to my humdrum day-to-day.

I must admit that the past few weeks since I first started we're pretty much stressful, let alone dreadful but I had to push on forward so that way my sister can accomplish her dreams. I'm not entirely sure that our truck driving job will be part-time or full-time but knowing full well that she is going to enjoy her job. (I hope. I cannot help but to feel that she will be getting cold feed our first shift if she ever get hired)

I'm pretty sure that I have quite a bunch of YouTube content actually catch up on so as soon as Saturday hits I am definitely going to actually put up more episodes of Let's Play Megaman Zero 2. I have also placed an Oculus Quest 2 (128gb) headset on layaway.

I'm pretty sure before Christmas at this year I should have the headset paid off. I know damn well I'm definitely going to enjoy my new headset. I'm not exactly sure on what games I should be playing on but I'm pretty sure I'm going to look around on Twitter for any suggestions.

I have to admit this entire year has been a roller coaster ride, for not only me, but my family as well. The pandemic is still going on and strong and not too many people have been vaccinated. Even though I have my vaccine for like twice in a row, there are times where I will still wear my mask regardless.

I just hope that those who are reading my blog are still doing all they can to continue pressing on word for such a hard time in life. It is also very important to do what you can to maintain your mental health as best you can. Your physical & mental health is your utmost priority so do what you can to keep up with both and also, try not to lose hope.

And for those of you who are going to celebrate Halloween/Samhain (Wiccan Halloween), enjoy your time with the ones you love, and by all means, please be safe.

PS: I wonder what I should dress Betsy for Halloween, huh? If you have any ideas, feel free to let me know in the comments. Thank you so very much. ❤️

Blog No. 013: 1-Month of Work

Hello there and welcome to another blog of my dear life. Here is what is happening: Around a few weeks ago, my sister wanted to startup life as a truck driver (not sure if it's part-time or full time,  don't have all the details as of yet), so she goes into Elizabethtown, KY to tend to a CDL class. In the meantime, I am now at their place, tending to my niece & nephew. My little niece (who is 5 years old) goes to school while my nephew (who is 4 years old) goes to daycare but his dad drops him off around 7:00am to 7:25am Monday through Friday & picks him up around 4pm. I get my little niece around 2:00pm to 3:00pm.

This whole deal all started around September 26th so on weekdays, I have to wake up around 5am to 5:30am and get the kids to dress up and well-fed before heading my niece to the bus stop for school & after that, get my nephew dressed so his dad will be dropping him off to daycare. I must admit, it has been quite a tiresome job. My pay from my sister was $100, plus the $50 I have gotten back from that one time I helped my 2nd sister with food via food stamps about a couple weeks back. My sister (who is the mother of the two) should be back around the 27th (or sooner, hopefully) so, when she returns, I can go back to my apartment and I can relax with my beloved cat in peace.

I don't think I'll be able to do this again, even with the help I (sometimes) be getting the kid's father, it's not enough, even though he works at a prison ward at some crazy hours. If I recall, I have to do at least 80% to 90% of the work while my sister is away. From bathing the kids, helping my niece with her homework, washing their clothes, and even feeding them. (Yes, the father sometimes help out too) I swear I am able to get through the month by getting their clothes ready beforehand, getting a good night's sleep, drink up on coffee, or energy drinks.

I do get some days off when the father is off of work for more than 2 days. I truly wish my sister didn't have to work upon this whole truck driver idea. I am tired and exhausted, & I cannot deal with the pressure of managing so much, while my sister is off at a truck driving training, which would lead her to a job where she'll travel the country and hardly comes home. I just hope when this is all over, I can take some R & R. She may have no choice but to find another sister, who can take on the kids if I am not psychically or mentally well enough to handle such a long, enduring job.

Sure, the money is ok, but for the first time in so long, I may have to sit this one out. Well loves, I'm afraid that is all I have to say for now. I do hope that you have been safe and keeping your lives great. Until then, thank you for reading another one of my life's blog, & have a lovely day.

After so long, I decided to play the one game that started it all. This got me wondering where my brain at when I decided to go for broke on...
