Blog No. 008: Home For The Holidays

 Hello there, this is Crimson Alucard Nightfox, & I'm back again with another blog. I am here to express how glad that I am that some of us have managed to make it this far during the year of the Covid-19 pandemic. Surely, many lives have been lost due to the virus, and we truly mourn for them. Surely, there is now a vaccine out and hopefully, it will bring some type of relief into our lives.

Now, the Christmas/Yule season is upon us and I know that some of us are spending time with our loved ones at home, in another state, or over video chat on Facebook, Instagram, SnapChat, etc. Still, it would be best to remain safe and extremly careful. The year may be ending soon but the virus may take longer for it to end, or it may not even end at all honestly.

For right now, we are pretty much in the dark, looking for answers, a greater sign of hope. Anything that shows a true light at the end of the tunnel. I have no N.Y.R.s (New Years Resolution) planned at the moment but I'm sure that there isn't one at all, or so I thought. I don't know honestly.

I really do hope that 2021 will have a peaceful, if not, a decent start. Now then, Thank you for taking the time to read up on my blog. Merry Christmas/Happy Yule, and have a safe & warm holiday. I'll be heading over to Lafayette, LA to spend some time with the fam til after New Years' (Around January 2, 2021).

 

Blog No. 007: Getting Ready For Halloween

Hello everyone, Amelia herewith once again, another blog about the life of, yours truly. As far as I can tell, we're still in the midst of the pandemic. (No surprises there, right?) The election is around the corner and well, my sister will be off to Columbia for some type of butt transplant and won't be home for the 2 1/2 weeks, starting on the Thanksgiving break next month.

I cannot help but feel as if it is my sworn duty to watch my little niece and nephew, which I don't mind honestly. I know that dealing with them for 2 1/2 weeks sounds hard but rest assured, I must do this for my family because there's no one worth trusting in the care of my niece and nephew too. Besides, I'm also against the idea of my little sister, taking those two to Texas and have my older sister watching them for that long.

Such an idea is bad as it is. The last time I was there, my older niece, Lex pretty much was teaching my little niece fowl things like showing the Butterfinger. My little brother has just been released from jail and is settling down with little sister #2 in Houston, TX as we speak. For right now, he and Little Sister #2 aren't getting along in certain matters, let alone seeing eye-to-eye as it is.

Now, as for Halloween, I'm still not entirely sure if there will be a Trick-Or-Treating outdoors or Halloween might be canceled due to the pandemic, to be honest, I am not entirely sure on what. I should look into the matter later on. I'll just be spending my Halloween night (if T.O.T. is out of the question) watching a collection of horror movies or even do a live stream of Friday The 13th: The Game (PS4) on my Twitch (which you'll find the link to my twitch channel in the blogger to the upper right. If not, it is somewhere around there)

I do hope that most will be ok during our final days of this year's Halloween season. Remember, continue the practice of social distancing, wear a protective mask, wash your hands, and try your best to not be in any large crowds.

Blog No. 006: My Current Situation 1

 Hello there loves and welcome back to my blog. I know I haven't been around as of late due to a lot going on as it is. Babysitting as usual but so far, I'm also doing as much as I can to keep my YouTube going on long and strong. The pandemic is still somewhat of a problem and just recently, there was a gender reveal party that went wrong in some woods in California about a few weeks back. 

The blaze is still a problem and many homes have been burned to the ground as far as I heard, as well as a large portion of the forests there in Cali was also reduced to cinders. I feel so bad for those who had lost their homes & my deepest condolences to those whose lives are also lost in the blaze (Both human & animal) Thankfully, the firefighters tried their hardest to bring down the blaze, and soon after, the future is undetermined.

Also, here is my current situation: It's pretty much the same but I'm going to put in more work into losing weight than ever. My niece also started going to Pre-K and I do miss her little speedy ways. Now I'm pretty much just looking after the 3-year-old, 3x/week. (I'd be a liar if I said this wasn't much of a hassle, to begin with)

I also may start thinking about putting up some videos here cause it has been kinda slow on YouTube as it is or may be open up a gaming version of my Facebook page. (Up for debate at the moment) Thank you so much for swinging on by to check up on me and reading my blog. Blog No. 005: Making It Through

Hello again loves, this is your lovely furry vixen, Crimson Nightfox back again with another blog for all of my fellow readers. So far, the past several months have been a stressful and uneasy for most of us as it is.

June was a bit Rocky in July was no different. The death of George Floyd spark outrage from all of the African American community and therefore which Justice was served but hopefully in a peaceful manner.

Thus started the Black Lives Matter movement. Next up, the government making the part of wear any facial covering is the short part of protecting yourself against covid-19. Therefore, you cannot go into any public area without one.

The only good news about it is the weather should finally die down and the thing should be a little more quiet hopefully. Another round of stimulus checks is going to be coming around since Congress just passed it.

The only thing is that we don't know when these checks are going to be coming around again cuz I know I got mine in May and my bills had been in smooth sailing since.

I'm still living in my apartment in Hopkinsville Kentucky and if all goes well by the end of my lease I hope to renew it for another year because to be honest, I have no intention on moving anywhere else anytime soon.

My only advice to you all is to remain safe, continue to practice social distancing, but still keep in touch with your loved ones as best as you can. Thank you so very much and I hope you all have a wonderful day

Blog No. 004: Getting Up On Gaming

Hello to all of you who do follow this blog of mine. It is I, Crimson Alucard Nightfox, back again with a nice little blog about my current situation with the events of covid-19. I normally go outside for anything that's essential such as picking up groceries or getting some extra supplies to help sanitize my apartment. It's been a long and somewhat depressing couple of weeks, but doing as much as I can to manage through this situation.

As some of you may know, there has been a report about millions and millions of people getting stimulus checks all across the country. people usually get this $1,200 stimulus check through direct deposit while some under social security or unemployment (correct me if I'm wrong) are pretty much going to get it instantly by the end of the month.

I have to admit, this is actually a pretty good thing for most of the Americans who have been taking a financial damage in such a critical way. Like myself here, many of us are doing as much as we can to follow the CDC guidelines no matter how lame or boring it tends to be. Sure, I'm surprised that this is the longest pandemic this has ever happened in history but if I'm correct, maybe they were far worse outbreaks than this one before.

physical interaction with any other person can't be happening but the best kind of interaction we can do is through FaceTime or any sort of social media app that uses the phone's webcam or PC webcam to interact with our friends and family members in this dire time of crisis.

I must admit though, I am glad for some of the people here who are following these guidelines and taking this matter seriously but at the same time still being friendly and open to our fellow neighbors and loved ones alike. it may come a time when the vaccine might be made but it won't be for a very long time now.

We must pretty much do what we can and wait this out until further notice. Now, I'm here to pretty much let y'all know about the gaming rig that I'm going to have set up. I got my webcam, my gaming keyboard and mouse, and my PC Tower. the only components I need for the PC Tower are listed in my phone so I should look for some parts once I save up enough money for specific parts that I need or have someone at honest PC repair to put it together for me for a price that won't kill my wallet entirely.

My gaming PC project may take months to complete but for what it's worth, the wait is worth it for I will have my WiFi I turned on next week first of all. I really do hope that I can pull this off, regardless of how expensive it may be. This way, I can continue my YouTube gaming channel even throughout these days of quarantine. Blog No. 003: The Corona Era

Greetings to all who read my blog. This is Crimson A. Nightfox here and I'm pretty damn sure that most of you are completely aware of this dire situation we have here in our land of the free and home of the brave. It is the infamous Coronavirus, but in short due to the CDC, Covid-19. For its history, it originated from Wuhan, China around December 2019. The infection had spread throughout the very masses & over the course of months, the virus had made its way through several countries such as Italy, Australia, India, Canada, also the United States.

The toll of infected has gone nearly past 20 while the death toll continues to rise throughout the world. Those within the W.H.O. (World Health Organization), the C.D.C. (Center for Disease Control), and many other medical and health organizations around the world are packing as much heat as they can to combat the spread of such a virus. Normally aggressive towards the elderly around 60+, even today's youth are getting the infection, despite showing low to moderate symptoms.

Accord to those within the White House in DC, there are some tests are passed around for free to check for anyone who has the virus. Those who are infected were in hospital isolation or self-isolation but there are also very few who came out from the virus. (Some lucky ones I hope) The following symptom may hit you after a 2 to 14-day exposure such as of the following: coughing, fever, & even shortness of breath, according to the official CDC website. (The link will be posted below)

The country and even most parts of the world are now in a state of feat and complete panic. Public areas and events are either closed or canceled until the whole Covid-19 dies down, and some say it may be around by the end of summer (according to rumors)

The very best that I can tell you all is to follow the instructions within the link to the website, to help you take better care of yourself and those around you. Be sure to also do as much as you can to research the virus through the CDC website, for every now and then, they're going to be some updates about the situation at hand.

It is also said that some workers are even laid off, fired, or forced to quit due to the virus but many had also taken up paid sick leave and doing as best they can to work from home. I don't know if there is much more that I can say but, even though I'm not a Christian, my prayers are with all who are reading this vlog. By all means....

Be safe and blessed be to all of you Do not go into fear and do not go into a panic. We must all remain with strength and hope. Only then we have a chance of overcoming the virus.

Blog No. 002: My Own Apartment

At long last, after several months, I was able to apply myself for affordable housing for a one bedroom apartment located in Hopkinsville, Kentucky. What the help of my sister, I am pretty sure that the road to my own independence will finally be of greatness.

For as long as I could remember, since the very day I moved out of the Community Home in Delcambre ,Louisiana, I have been doing as much as I can to put myself in good use for my sister and to be at her physical and emotional support.

Then there comes a time when my niece and nephew were brought into the world. I knew very nothing about babysitting but I caught on as time passed. there were some struggles here and there but thankfully I was able to overcome a lot and despite of it all, there were some good at the end of the light.

now here I am with my application completely filled out for my own apartment. It's in a complex called Eagle Crossing, which is located in Hopkinsville, Kentucky. The only bedroom I'm seeking out has a one bedroom, which for a time being that I will be living alone thankfully. There's so much I wish to plan for the future.

For example, getting my own furniture, getting means of transportation (for example, a bike....again or if I truly saved up, work my way up to a moped), go back into studying for my GED at the Hopkinsville Community College, and pretty much so-on.

For the time being, me and my sister are going to do what we can to take one step at a time in order for this to work. Once everything has been taken care of and settled down, I can finally relax knowing that everything will be alive and well. I'll probably be ordering stuff to complete my neet/otaku life style and anything related to the LGBT, just so I can brighten up the atmosphere a bit.

According to the landlord, there is a one-bedroom that is currently upstairs but is undergoing some type of maintenance. If all goes well, it should be available by the end of the month. I'm pretty sure that the landlord will inform me on when it's available by then but I'll probably give them a few extra days just to make sure every preparation is complete and everything is in working order. Last thing I need is a faulty apartment. 

I'll still be babysitting my nieces and nephews but it's only going to be two days a week and there will be some payment once a month for my services. The good news is that there is a big o station that me and my sister wants went to play bingo for the first time in a long time ago, along with a thrift store called Grace & Mercy, a small town gym (finally I can go back into my weight loss exercises once and for all), and there's also a pawn shop and next to it which is last but not least, a small little corner store.

The only thing I need to do now is sit tight, make my early preparations and wait for the lady to call me to let me know if the apartment is available. If all things go smoothly, everything should be completed by mid March.

Blog No. 001: Valentine's Day

Good evening to you all. Crimson Alucard Nightfox here would like to pretty much wish you singles and non-single peeps out there a wonderful and a Happy Valentine's Day. The time being 8:33 p.m., I am currently chilling at a friend's place right now babysitting her 4 kids, along with my niece and nephew while they are currently going to see a play in Nashville, TN. (it was supposed to be Tyler Perry's last play from what I heard from my sister but if resources serve me well, he should still be on tour. I hope you will still make movies at least)

My sister is pretty much just having a rough day with her ex-husband like usually, so therefore I offer to take her kids off of her hands why her and my friend are off to go see a play. Right about now, I'm just chilling on a sofa, with the lullaby playing so the kids can sleep. 

I will have to admit, the first few hours was a bit rough but I was able to hold my own for quite some time now. Being to the fact that I do like kids, I absolutely have no intention on having any of my own. Now I will admit again, kids are supposed to be the key to a brighter tomorrow, if they weren't such a pain in the butt but like most children, between the ages of 2 possibly up to six, I will get like that sometimes. 

Patient as I am, I've been pretty much doing this whole babysitting thing for my sister sick ever since I moved here back in 2016. My niece was first born in 2017 and then the year after that my nephew was born. In case someone else needs a babysitter, I can possibly and look after to maybe 4 kids at a time and in case I'm feeling generous, I don't have to charge a dime. Normally I just do this sort of thing to give the parents a break.

I always keep telling myself that I will have a break of my own one of these days and I have faith that it will happen. Until then, my priorities and responsibilities are at the utmost importance. Now to get on the topic of Valentine's Day. Everyone out there who is in a relationship or pretty much out there celebrating their anniversary, eating out or spending their nights at a fancy hotel while singles are so hateful towards the holiday because of their experience in past relationships or the fact that they just couldn't get a date at all.

I guess Valentine's Day works like a double-edged sword: swings one way and then it swings another. it's pretty much a good or bad thing depending on how you make of it. I haven't been in a relationship since 2016 and I got to admit, being single does have its ups and downs I'm not going to lie. But there will come a time where I'm just going to have to be with a special someone because who would want to live the rest of the year is all alone by the time they hit 40 (& I'll be 30 in June 13, 2020)

All I can say here in my latest blog is this: try to enjoy the very good in Valentine's Day if you can find it. Valentine's Day doesn't always have to be about couples spending time together. You can pretty much enjoy it with a friend or family relative. Possibly chill with a neighbor or just have your pet to keep you company or just make countless Valentine's Day memes until you die of laughter. 

Are the couples out there, please try to be nice to those who are single and don't rub it in their faces like high school bullies. I hope that you all have a wonderful Valentine's Day and I'm sure for the singles out there are glad that they won't run into another Holiday like this one until next year.
